It is the mystery part of ourselves. We do not know this part of ourselves, and others also do not know it. The devil does not know it, but God, who is Omniscient, knows it.
God Speaks
He reveals Himself: His eternal existence, His awesome being, His marvelous works of creation, His mighty arm, His profound thoughts, His compassionate heart, His mercy and grace, His plan and purpose, His laws and commandments, His provision, His presence, His voice. All these are revealed, written in the Bible.
Yes, everything we need to know in the mystery window to walk according to His will and way, He reveals to us. And this is realized in His Divine Presence, reading and meditating on His written word, abiding in it, and obeying His command.
His Voice in a Moment of Pain
Our God is not only a story written or read; He is a personal God who connects, relates, and bonds with us like a loving Father who cares for us and works wonders and who speaks by His voice.
He spoke to me when I was emotionally bruised. While hurting badly in an incident at home, I was mulling on leaving home because my mom, in her anger, had ordered me to leave the house.
Deep in my thoughts, I wanted to leave. Then in my mind I heard a voice asking, “Where will you go?”
“I don’t know. I will just walk towards the north along the national highway,” I replied in my thought.
The voice in my mind spoke again. “If you get thirsty and hungry, where will you get your food and water?”
“Maybe I would ask for food and water from a house I would pass by along the road.”
The voice spoke again. “When it gets dark and you are tired, where will you stay for the night if there are no houses along the road?”
At that moment, I saw myself walking along the road hungry and thirsty. I saw a house, knocked on its door, but nobody opened it. I said to myself, “Maybe no one is at home.” So I kept walking. It was getting dark, and all I can see was a vast field with no houses. No street lights. All is darkness. Then I felt the cold air of the night, and I began to feel afraid.
His Voice Gave Me A Plan
Then I heard the voice speaking again, saying, “Stay home and endure. Finish college, then get a job, and then get married. “
I was encouraged, and my countenance brightened. The pain and resentment were gone; peace filled me, and I felt better. The voice gave me a purpose and a plan in life to achieve it by being resilient.
After college, I got married—a quick marriage arranged by God.
God sent a matchmaker to connect me and my wife. Every detail that transpired before, during, and after our wedding was divinely ordained.
Through my wife, God revealed Himself to me. Then I remembered the Voice. Surely, it was God who spoke to my mind that day. He visited me and directed my path.
